Samsung Galaxy S4 leaks again in high-res images

join us on facebook for more detail

The launch of Samsung Galaxy S4 is now just a few hours away, but it seems we still have time for a final leak! A few days back, a Chinese website gave us some clear images of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S4 and today, it’s the Chinese again, who have provided us with more images of Samsung’s next flagship smartphone, and this time the images go high-resolution.

A Chinese website it168.com has released a new set of images, in high-resolution, showing the Samsung Galaxy S4, and giving us a much better look at what Samsung will offer this time around. First and foremost, one can notice the textured plastic design on the front and back sides of the smartphone but surprisingly, the back panel already has a crack. If these images are indeed of the Samsung Galaxy S4, it raises a serious concern about the durability of the smartphone.

The specifications listed on the website claim that the Samsung Galaxy S4 would be powered by the Exynos 5410 Octa-Core CPU clocking at 1.8GHz along with 2GB of RAM and PowerVR SGX 544MP3 GPU to give a top-notch graphic performance on the smartphone. Also, it is more or less confirmed that that Samsung Galaxy S4 will come with a 4.99-inch Full-HD display. The device is expected to come with 16GB of internal storage along with a micro-SD card slot for storage expansion and a 2,600mAh battery.

The leak sheds light on some of the software aspects of the Samsung Galaxy S4 as well, including the Smart Stay eye tracking (or eye scrolling) feature that had been leaked previously and it also shows the never-seen-before Galaxy Note-2 like feature, which let’s user user hover their fingers over the display, just like the users do on the Note-2 via the S-pen.

SPECIFICATION OF  Samsung Galaxy S IV'
Image of SIV duos according to another Chinese website

According to the website these are the specifications…-
Android 4.2- 4.99” AMOLED/PHOLED display-
Resolution 1080 x 1920-
13 megapixel-
Exynos 5410 1.8GHz Octa-core processor- PowerVR SGX 544MP3 GPU-
2GB RAM-
16GB internal memory-
2600mAh battery-
140.1 x 71.8 x 7.7mm-
Weight 138 gram-
Smart Scroll and Smart Pause and Air View that supports fingers instead of the S Pen.

IT HAS 8 CORES AND PHOLED DISPLAY WITH 3D EFFECT AND THE DEVICE HAS EYE SCROOL.

Otherwise, the specs sheet is largely the same as what we suspect will be in the Galaxy S IV:
Android 4.2
4.99” AMOLED/PHOLED display
Resolution 1080 x 1920
13MP camera
Exynos 5410 1.8GHz Octa-core processor
PowerVR SGX 544MP3 GPU
2GB RAM
16GB internal memory
2600mAh battery
140.1 x 71.8 x 7.7mm
Weight 138 gram
Dual-SIM - one of which is likely hot-swappable
According to the source, the dual-SIM model will come with the standard carrier bloatware preinstalled. From a design standpoint, it has a cross-hatched texture rather than the brushed aluminum look of the S III, with a thinner bezel, embossed home button, and redone plastic back cover. The Air View feature is reportedly still buggy, but that's likely due to the prototype build.

This leak brings up an interesting question in regards to the validity of some of the leaks we've come across - is it possible that until now all we've been seeing have been test devices, perhaps even ones purposely leaked by Samsung to keep the real deal under wraps?
Either way, only a few hours left before we all find out what the real deal is - be sure to check back with us for full coverage of tonight's unpacked event!
There are several leaks of the upcoming flagship from Samsung that have surfaced over the last couple of days, and today, just hours before the launch event for the Galaxy S IV, we see yet another one pop up. This time it is a Dual SIM device, and is by several accounts a prototype, meaning that the final build might not look like the device pictured.
